Ensure surfaces are free from loose and flaking paint. Wash surfaces with a suitable cleaner prior to painting to remove any oil, grease, dirt or other contaminants. Where there are areas of mould, treat with a mould remover.
Best results are obtained on shot blasted steel, but mechanically abraded steel produces acceptable adhesion.

Apply 1 coat of Procoat Zinc Phosphate Primer, allow 12 hours (minimum) to dry. Apply 1 or 2 coats of selected topcoat.Steel:
Shot blast to SA 2.5 or SSPC-SP2-82. Mechanically abrade to remove loose rust and scale.Apply 1 coat of Procoat Zinc Phosphate Primer, allow 12 hours (minimum) to dry.
Apply 1 or 2 coats of selected topcoat.
